Prepare in advance 2 Preliminary Assignments for the first weekend
1. See Preliminary Assignments for first Friday related to National Trends in Alternate Assessment. Post to Actively Learn on/or earlier than the Thursday before class begins.
2. Preliminary Assignments for first Saturday related to Local Models in Alternate Assessments. Read and review all of the required materials prior to Friday night. Post discussion to Google Doc link.
Prepare in advance 3 Preliminary Assignments for the second weekend (see Assignments Page)
1. Read Integrating Technology Into Instruction: What’s Working in Inclusive Classrooms., Chapter 2, Making Literacy Meaningful for Everyone in Inclusive Elementary Classrooms.
2. Study the Making Literacy Accessible videos. Find the links on the Assignments page - will take about 2-3 hours (chunk your time)
3. Make your Adapted Digital Book. Your book should reflect your learning from the first two assignments. Write your 1-page summary. Submit both via emailbefore the second weekend. See instructions and rubric on Assignments Page.
